Scribe is an AI-powered assistant for tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) that transforms your game sessions into a living campaign record. After you upload an audio recording of your session, Scribe transcribes the dialogue, summarizes the events, and creates a session recap.

It also identifies key NPCs, locations, and story elements, automatically organizing them into a connected campaign wiki. As your game progresses, Scribe updates entries and keeps everything in sync—so your players stay immersed and your world stays consistent.

Scribe will be available to the general public after we complete our Beta program, which is currently underway. We expect to officially launch in Summer 2025.

The campaign wiki is a living, interconnected archive of your game world, built automatically by Scribe as it processes your sessions. When you upload a recording, Scribe identifies important elements—like players, NPCs, and locations—and creates or updates corresponding entries. These entries are linked back to the sessions they appeared in, and to each other, so you can explore your world like a custom-built wiki. Over time, it becomes a rich, searchable reference for your campaign.

Yes—once Scribe creates summaries and lore entries from your session, you have full control to revise them. You can make manual edits directly in the app, or use Scribe’s built-in conversational tools to intelligently rewrite content using simple instructions. Whether you want to clarify details, change tone, or expand a character’s backstory, Scribe helps you fine-tune your campaign content quickly and easily.

Scribe is designed to be system-agnostic, meaning it can support any TTRPG—whether you’re playing Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, or your own homebrew system. Because it works by analyzing your session audio and identifying key narrative elements, it adapts to the style and structure of your specific game world without needing system-specific rules.

Yes—Scribe includes a powerful conversational interface that lets you ask questions about your campaign. You can ask things like “What happened the last time we were in Velryn Keep?” or “Who is Thorne’s contact in the thieves’ guild?” and Scribe will generate context-aware responses based on your uploaded sessions and the campaign wiki it has built.

In most cases, Scribe will also surface links to relevant entries in the campaign wiki so you can quickly dive in to learn more or explore related details.

Scribe is currently available as a mobile app for iOS and Android devices.

Desktop support planned for the future, but in the meantime, you can record your session using any device and simply transfer the audio to your mobile device to upload it to Scribe. The experience is designed to be hands-off and hassle-free; no time-consuming input is needed and the mobile app makes it easy to share your campaign with the entire party.

Scribe’s app interface is currently available only in English. Expanding multilingual support for the app interface is something we’re planning as the platform grows.

However, Scribe can process audio in any spoken language, and the resulting summaries and wiki entries will be generated in the same language as the audio.

While AI helps accelerate and organize the process, you retain full control—everything it creates can be reviewed, edited, or rewritten to suit your style and needs.

Scribe is built to respect your privacy and give you full control over your content. All audio files and campaign data are private to your account and never shared without your permission. AI-generated content is clearly labeled and fully editable—you can revise, delete, or rewrite anything using manual tools or natural language prompts. Scribe’s goal is to support your storytelling, not override it, with full transparency into what’s created and why.

By default, only you can see the content you upload to Scribe, including audio recordings, summaries, and wiki entries. However, you can choose to invite your players through a “viewer account” feature. Viewer accounts have read-only access to your campaign’s wiki and session summaries, and—if you choose to enable it—they can also use the Ask Scribe feature to recall information about past events, characters, and locations. It’s a great way to keep everyone on the same page while giving you full control over access and permissions.

Yes—your data privacy and security are core priorities for Scribe. All audio files, transcriptions, and generated content are stored securely and are only accessible through your account. We never sell, share, or use your data for training AI models or for any purpose outside your personal campaign experience. You’re always in control of what’s uploaded, stored, or removed from your campaign.

Yes. You can delete any individual entry—like a session summary, NPC, or location—or remove your entire campaign at any time. If you’d like a copy of your content, Scribe also offers the ability to export your campaign data so you can download and back it up outside the app. We believe your world belongs to you, and you should have full control over how it’s stored, shared, or removed.

As a Beta tester, you’ll get early access to Scribe while it’s still in active development. You’ll be among a small group of users helping us test core features, identify bugs, and shape the overall experience. Beta testers will be invited to share feedback directly with the team, and your insights will play a key role in improving the product before full release. Keep in mind that some features may be limited or still evolving during the Beta period.

We’re looking for a diverse group of DMs and players who are actively involved in TTRPG campaigns and excited to help shape Scribe. When you request a Beta invite, you’ll fill out a short form telling us about your experience and interest. We’ll review submissions and hand-pick testers based on fit, ensuring a range of play styles, systems, and campaign types are represented. Space is limited, so not all applicants will be selected—but we’ll keep everyone updated throughout the process.

The Beta includes Scribe’s core functionality: audio upload, transcription, intelligent session summaries, and the Ask Scribe conversational interface. You’ll also be able to revise or rewrite content using natural language prompts, giving you flexible control over how your campaign is documented. Some highly requested features—like automatic campaign wiki generation and viewer accounts—aren’t available at the start of the Beta but are planned to roll out during the Beta period, starting with exclusive access for testers. Looking ahead, future releases will expand even further, including features like AI-generated imagery and more tools to bring your campaign world to life.

Absolutely. Feedback from Beta testers is a critical part of shaping Scribe. Throughout the Beta, you’ll have opportunities to share thoughts, report bugs, and suggest improvements through surveys, in-app prompts, or direct communication with our team. We’re building Scribe for the TTRPG community, and your input will directly influence how features evolve before the full launch.
