This page explains how you can request deletion of your Scribe account and/or specific personal data.
It applies to the Scribe mobile app and any additional services operated by Tabletop Scribe LLC.
How to request deletion
You can request account or data deletion in any of the following ways:
- In-app: Go to Account Settings → Delete Account and follow the prompts.
- Web form: Fill out the form at the bottom of the page
- Email: Send your request to info@tabletopscribe.com from the email address linked to your Scribe account.
We may ask you to verify your identity for security purposes.
Your Options
- Delete entire account – Permanently deletes your account and all associated data listed below.
- Delete specific data only – You can request removal of certain data (e.g., audio uploads, transcripts, generated images) without closing your account.
Credits
If your account has unused Scribe Credits at the time of deletion:
- Forfeiture: Credits will be permanently forfeited once your account is deleted.
- Transfers: You may request to transfer remaining Credits to another active Scribe account before deletion.
- How to Request a Transfer:
- Email info@tabletopscribe.com from the address associated with your account.
- Include the recipient’s Scribe account email.
- We will verify both accounts and complete the transfer before finalizing your deletion request.
Credits are non-refundable and can only be transferred once per deletion request.
What We Delete
If you request account deletion, we will remove:
- Account profile information (name, email, preferences)
- All content you provided or that we generated for you (audio uploads, transcripts, summaries, campaign entries, images)
- In-app preferences and settings
- Authentication tokens
What We May Retain
In some cases, we may need to keep certain data for legal, security, or operational reasons:
- Payment and billing records – Retained up to 7 years to comply with tax and financial laws.
- Security and fraud logs – Retained up to 90 days to prevent abuse.
- Backups – Encrypted backups are overwritten automatically; residual copies may persist up to 30 days.
- Legal holds – Data required by law or court order will be retained for the necessary duration.
Processing Timeline
We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will notify you. You will receive a confirmation email when your request has been completed.
